CrowdStrike ran a software update earlier this week, but overnight it was updating Windows computers to attempt to reboot and display a blue screen error message.
Cybersecurity experts said any disruption to the CrowDStrike system could affect the entire IT system, affecting both laptops, self-extracting terminals and smart devices.
“The bad guys write exploits, malware and viruses that get very deep into your computer,” Prow said.

“We understand that this is due to an issue affecting organizations that have deployed Crowdstrike Falcon in their IT environments,” a Cybercx spokesperson said.
