This is a quick version of my family’s favorite old fashioned Sweet Rolls. For this recipe I stayed true to my grandmother’s original version. But sometimes a little less time is needed (sorry Mama Girl!).

Prepare the wet ingredients. Start by heating the milk in the microwave and stir in the sugar to dissolve it. It’s important to keep the milk at the right temperature, between 110ºF and 120ºF (any higher and you risk killing the yeast). Then melt the butter and let it cool.
